The foundations of my works draw us closer to the image of nature, or encourage us to perceive this. This is found in my compositional representation of a subject. From a lateral glance, the layers of paint give the representation of a location in one’s imagination, with beams of light breaking through, making one blink, and the plasticity of the paint giving the work a true depth. The forms gain importance as vertical constructive elements and enhance the dynamism in the work. Above all, completely covering the work with tape and creating contrast with spray paint, provides a light effect reaping a dual functionality. With this New York scene my expression is supposed to draw the viewers attention to the city’s vivid and colorful life. The Twin Towers absence and presence make a reflection with the Statue of Liberty; and aim to give a message to humanity with my unique way of expression.
