A native of Kildare, Ireland, Seán began making art at a very early age. He was encouraged to draw and paint by his father who showed him the many great museums and galleries throughout Europe and the United Kingdom. In 1985 Seán travelled to the South of France to paint in Collioure, a famous artists colony. There he met and worked with many different artists from all over Europe and America. Although only 23 years old, he received much praise and admiration for the quality and detail of his work from the public and many of his peers. Seán has continued to exhibit in various solo and group exhibitions, selling the majority of his paintings to buyers from all over the world. His paintings have graced the covers of numerous children’s books in the past. He continues to paint and build a collection of his works for future exhibits.
